I understand your skeptisism. But what if a good dev bought it? For all you know there's a dev out there that could make it a great franchise.
IMO, devs out there should be fighting for this franchise. If you take MK and make it great, it's money in the bank. A legendary franchise to own. It's up for grabs. I hope EA/ubisoft/activision don't buy it. They'll just make crap 'product' out of it.
BD is moving along it's way. I haven't even bothered looking in stores for a couple of months til today, and I shopped at several, they've all expanded their BD sections generously, including the rental place nearest me that didn't seem too big on it before, has now expanded in ways that made my eyes bug.

Eh, I liked the first DMC back in the day. Played it so many times. But since, I think the games after are trash and the dialogue, the Japanese write almost parody-like bad versions of what they think Americans would write. Really embarrassing stuff.
Accepts higher resolutions and scales them very nicely. So I keep all boxes checked on the PS3 video settings up to 1080p. Was around $700. Great for the price.
I just want to throw in that Crytek once said they are working on 'secret technologies' exclusively for PS3. They also stated they believe the PS3 is the system that has the most room for growth.
